Exactly, WSS! It makes it a particularly interesting draft, doesn't it? It does. makes mocking this fucker really tough.

| You could move to CO...half the population seems to be stoned on any given day.
This draft is driving me crazy as well. I can think of a half dozen guys I'd love for the Pack to take in the 3rd or 4th Rd., but can't zero in on a 1st or even 2nd Rd. favorite.

| It is kind of an ideal Theodore draft where the BPAis probably the way to go. | |

Out of curiosity, how does the law read Denver? Do you still need a physician’s prescription in order to purchase Marijuana or can you just go into a pot shop and make a purchase over the counter? Overall the whole thing is kind of goofy. I mean, Bush used to send the Feds in to bust the California shops – that ended the day Obama took office. But Obama can change his mind at any time and send the feds in Colorado and start making busts again. If you bring whats legal in CO to SD, they’ll toss you into jail…for awhile. Which costs me 40,000 a year per prisoner. And lastly, does the state tax the heck out of the grass? What gives you revenue seems to cost me revenue.

| Jack, as of now nothing has changed even though the amendment passed in November. Still just, ummm, 'medical' mj legal. Seems everyone (Feds, state, cities) is waiting for someone to make the first move. Although there seems to be several thousand 'task forces' involved. | |

| I should clarify, though, that the Gov did sign the law making recreational mj legal. The process of businesses actually selling it (and hopefully taxing the hell out of it) is getting nowhere at the moment. | |

| In Oakland pot is taxed at 11.5%. Good deal for the state and city. | |

In Deadwood, Gaming is taxed at 9%, plus the casinos have to pay a 2K stamp yearly for each machine. I'm thinking pot is taxed slightly higher, but comparable to gaming. This is probably the only town in the USA where a casino is located right next door to the grade school - and I'm talking within 40 feet. There's a police presence there pretty much all day. But the rec center is state of the art and very shockingly cheap. The Library still sucks, but we're working on that.

| I'm good with taxing gambling, weed, alcohol and all that. but what the y need to legalize is prostitution and regulate, license and tax the shit out of that. | |

Deadwood had sorta kinda legal prosistitution up until the early 80's - then the feds came in and shut down the three houses.

| Legalizing drugs and prostitution has the added benefit of ridding the world of 2 of it's sleaziest subgroups: pimps and drug dealers. | |
